About Me

Aristides Mitsakis is a gentle man, strongly allergic to condemnations. He studied International Relations at the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa, during the transition of the country from the apartheid regime to democracy. The wounds and divisions of South Africa signaled his coming of age and led him to a spiritual quest across the globe. He now works in Athens, Greece, as a political and spiritual activist, an essayist, poet and translator. Aristides wishes, that is prays for, the globalization of human decency.
